Founder-Led. Independent. Institutional.
East Emblem is a founder-led independent advisory firm built around senior institutional experience, direct execution, and long-term relationships.
Lewis Kilroe is the Founder and Managing Director of East Emblem, and one of the most experienced operational due diligence practitioners working in the GCC.
Over a career spanning more than a decade at J.P. Morgan, Amundi, and Man Group, Lewis led operational due diligence on behalf of some of the world's most demanding institutional allocators sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and global asset managers with combined AUM in the trillions. He reviewed fund managers across private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, real assets, and digital assets, completing over 600 ODD reviews across multiple jurisdictions and every stage of manager scale.
That work put him inside investment committees, watching what allocators actually require and where managers repeatedly fall short. The gap between how managers think they are assessed and how allocators actually make decisions is consistent and preventable. East Emblem was built to close it for both sides of the table.
Lewis achieved the CAIA Charterholder in 2019 and is based in Abu Dhabi.
Craig Martin is CEO of GreenOak Capital and an Affiliate Partner of East Emblem, supporting the FM101 programme and the Brews, Views and Community events.
He has lived and worked in the UAE since 2002 and brings over two decades of experience in fund structuring, capital formation, and investment vehicle setup across private markets, public markets, and alternative strategies. Within FM101, Craig leads the fund structuring and regulatory pathway guiding new managers through investment manager and fund vehicle formation with commercial discipline and regulatory clarity.

He has nearly 30 years of experience across front, middle, and back office functions in global asset management and fund servicing including senior roles at SS&C, Citibank, TCI Fund Management, and CACEIS, across Ireland, the UK, the US, and the Middle East.
